Her PhD is a randomised feasibility study of brief problem-solving therapy for perinatal depression and intimate partner violence in rural Ethiopia, supervised by Dr Charlotte Hanlon and Professor Louise Howard. It is funded by King’s College London and a King’s IoPPN Clinician Investigator Scholarship.
Roxanne’s research interests are in social determinants of mental health and how traumatic experiences influence mental health. She is interested in the interface between physical and mental health and integrating psychiatric skills into routine primary care, worldwide.
