Since the very beginning of her carrier she has studied menstrual cycle dysfunction (amenorrhea, polycystic ovary, dysmenorrhea, etc.), premenstrual syndrome and headaches related to reproductive events, menopausal symptoms and related diseases.

Since several years she has develop a peculiar interest toward emotional and sexual correlates of menstrual dysfunction, infertility, contraceptive choice and menopause.

She has been always a clinician and a researcher at the mean time and she has published several papers and book chapters, both national and international, in the field of physiopathology and psychobiology of reproduction.
