My research focuses on the molecular and physiological responses of ectotherms to environmental stress, with special interest on organismal response to thermal stress. Current research focuses on the molecular and physiological mechanisms of stress tolerance in ticks (Ixodidae) with the goal of better understanding population dynamics and optimizing the control of these important disease vectors.
