Rongkun Xu

Rong Kun Xu was born in Jiangsu, China, in 1961. He received the B.S. degree in theoretical physics from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 1983 and the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2003. Since 1983, he has been with a branch of the Institute of Nuclear Physics and Chemistry, China Academy of Engineering Physics, Mianyang, China. He is currently the Head of the branch of INCP. His research interests include X-ray radiation physics, high-temperature plasma physics, $Z$-pinches, and plasma diagnostics.
