Carlos Rangel Rodrigues

I am enthusiastic about computational techniques for discovering biology-health science solutions. I finished the Ph.D. program in Biotechnology & Science from Federal Fluminense University (Brazil) with a split-site in Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) in February 2019. My thesis involved computational simulation applied to rational drug design to identify new compounds with possible pharmacological activity. I have research experience in Molecular Modelling techniques such as structure-based drug design, molecular dynamics, docking, virtual screening, binding free energy, pharmacophore development, pharmacokinetic predictions. I am also interested in machine learning for drug discovery.
