My research is mostly in marine ecotoxicology and pollution. I have been studying the interactive effects of chemical waste pollution and ocean climate change (temperature rise and CO2-driven acidification) at the biochemical, cellular, individual, population and community levels. More recently, the research group that I supervise has been dedicated to studying spatial and temporal trends in contamination and chemical pollution in the ocean, through systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
