Jordi Rodon Aldrufeu

PhD in Animal Medicine and Health. M.Sc in Molecular Biotechnology. B.Sc in Biology. Our research group seek to investigate (re-)emerging zoonotic diseases with pandemic potential, and my PhD research is specially dedicated to MERS and COVID-19. We are focused in understanding their pathogenesis and immune response upon infection of different hosts. Also, developing and testing therapeutic treatments and vaccine candidates. My research is highly devoted to the ‘One Health’ initiative.
