Rita Campos

I'm a biologist that after several years working on evolution and population genetics is now researching on Science Communication and Non-Formal Science Education. This research is developed in the Centre for Social Studies (CES, University of Coimbra), with the collaboration of the Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources-Research Network in Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology (CIBIO-InBIO, University of Porto), the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN, Brazil) and the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra. The aim is to contribute to an active public participation in decisions regarding the rational use of the natural resources, developing communication tools that privileges an approach between public and researchers.
