Richard L. Tutwiler

Richard L. Tutwiler received the B.S degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, in 1979 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 1985 and 1992, respectively. He is currently a Senior Research Associate and the Department Head of the Image Processing Group, Applied Research Laboratory (ARL), The Pennsylvania State University, and a member of the graduate faculty in the Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, and Kinesiology departments. His research interests include machine vision, image processing, remote sensing, high-frequency analog and digital design, and ultrasonic beam-forming architectures. Prior to joining the ARL, he was with HRB-Singer, Inc. (now Raytheon) and Motorola, Inc., Communications Division.
