Van Roijen, R.

Raymond van Roijen (M’13) received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 1989. He joined Philips Research Laboratory, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, working on semiconductor lasers, followed by the work in the same field at Philips Research, Briarcliff Manor, NY, USA. After working at Philips Semiconductors, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, he joined IBM’s Microelectronics Division, Hopewell Junction, NY, USA. He recently transitioned to GlobalFoundries, Hopewell Junction. Dr. van Roijen is a member of the Technical Committee of the Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Conference.
