His research at Clemson University focuses on carbon and other nanomaterials' fundamental properties and their utility in energy generation (thermoelectrics, triboelectrics, and piezoelectrics) and energy storage (supercapacitors and batteries) technologies. Future interests include using machine learning to accelerate discovery and development at CNI and quantum technologies.
