Rajesh has 20+ years of Science & Technology experience within the US Department of Defense and previously led R&D programs in Human Performance, Aerospace Medicine, and Biotechnology programs. Previously served as Chief Scientist at the 711th Human Performance Wing at Air Force Research Laboratory. Primary authority for ensuring the scientific quality of $250M+ S&T research portfolio on human performance includes aerospace medicine, human-machine teaming, training, systems and synthetic biology and human factors. Responsible for providing strategic research vision and guiding development of technology roadmaps to address Air Force needs in human performance and biotechnology. Served as the technical lead for the $45M tri-service initiative on synthetic biology funded by Office of Secretary of Defense. Currently he serves as the Chief Strategy officer at Mined XAI, an explainable artificial intelligence start-up. Driving strategic initiatives to advance Mined XAI’s new business verticals and mission. Rajesh also serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech.
