I have been involved in haemopoietic transplant activities for the last 30 years. My main areas of interest and research are the infectious complications of SCT patients, although I have also been involved in several clinical studies of SCT and other adult oncohematology patients. I have been the principal investigator of several phase II and phase III studies related to infectious complications in oncohematologic patients, the majority recipients of haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Scientific publications I am the author or co-author of - 214 papers in peer-reviewed journals (157 international, 57 in Spanish journals) - 280 communications to international (150) and national (130) congresses. - 43 chapters in medical books - Co-editor of 2 handbooks: o Prophylaxis and treatment of infectious complications in oncohematology patients.
