Currently I am more focused on peatlands. I am the PI for 3 climate manipulation sites on peatland, where we reduce precipitation (with active method) and increase temperature by infrared radiators (1 site) or OTCs (2 sites). We are trying to answer for the question how the manipulated condition may impact peatland vegetation (structure, composition, morphology, LAI, fAPAR, photosynthesis, SIF), GHG fluxes and balances, spectral and optical properties of surface as well as peat decomposition.
