Research Activities My research activity is carried out in the applied physics field with studies on aerosol science, environmental physics, and atmospheric physics and chemistry. It is focused on the study of aerosol physical-chemical properties and the identification and apportionment of major emission sources. These research items are tackled through experimental and modelling approaches, setting up new methodologies and performing field campaigns to explore aerosol properties as well as implementing receptor models to quantify emission source impacts. Interdisciplinary research lines related to aerosol threat to cultural heritage and aerosol toxicity have been also undertaken.
