Quang Nguyen

Assoc. Professor Nguyen Quang is a doctor of Surgery/ Urology/ Andrology Director - Center for Andrology and Sexual Medicine, Viet Duc University Hospital, Hanoi, Vietnam Head - Department of Urology, Andrology and Sexual Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMP), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) He received his medical degree in 1994, certificate of Resident doctor in Surgery in 1998, his recognition on Urological intervention in 1999, his MD in Surgery in 2005, his recognition on Pre-hospital care in New York, the USA, his PhD. in Urology in 2010. He got trained about Urology and Andrology in Seoul, Korea, etc. He is an associate professor in Hanoi Medical University and University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. As an academic, he is in charge of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of medicine. He is also actively involved in teaching about surgery, urology, andrology, and sexual medicine in several hospitals and universities. He is specialized in Surgery, Urology and Andrology. His research deeply focuses on Surgery, including urinary track and prostate diseases, reproductive organs such as varicocele, cryptorchidism, etc. He has supervised to 1 Doctor of Philosophy students, more than 20 Master students and several undergraduate students in the last 10 years. To date, he has participate in writing more than 100 publications, including more than 80 original articles, 5 reviews, 8 books and book chapters. Currently, he is President of the Vietnamese Society for Sexual Medicine (VSSM), Executive Member of the Vietnam Urology and Nephrology Association (VUNA) and many other professional associations.
