个人简介
Qing Gu received the bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in 2008 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, San Diego, San Diego, CA, USA, in 2014. Since 2016, she has been an Assistant Professor of electrical and computer engineering (ECE) with the University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, TX, USA, and will be an Associate Professor of ECE and physics with North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, from January 2022. She is the author of book Semiconductor Nanolasers by Cambridge University Press, published in 2017. Her research interests include the experimental realization of quantum-inspired nanophotonic semiconductor light sources using emerging materials or novel cavity configurations, active and topological hyperbolic metamaterials, and perovskite optoelectronics. She was the recipient of the ARO Young Investigator Award and NSF CAREER Award, and is a Texas Instruments Early Career Fellow in ECE.
