Qingwei Wang(王庆伟)

I am interested in understanding how terrestrial plants respond and adapt to the changes of the global environment (e.g. UV-B radiation, temperature, and CO2), through investigating plant morphological, biochemical, and physiological traits. I conduct research at a wide variety of scales, with multiple approaches including field surveys, long-term monitoring, common garden, and molecular technique in the laboratory. Current research projects are focused on the interaction effects of ozone depletion, solar radiation, and climatic changes on ecosystem structure and function; alpine plant life and UV-B radiation; forest canopy spectral ecology and biogeochemical cycles.
