She received Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Lancaster University, UK in 2007. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Crop Science, UPM in which her research interests include herbal production under soil and soilless cultivation (hydroponics). She is an active leader of urban farming UPM in technical innovations. Recently, she is also involve as technical expert for the hydroponics production in a Plant Factory UPM. She is also a senior member of the Malaysian Society of Plant Physiology
