Anna Procopio was born in Catanzaro, Italy, in 1991. She received the B.S. degree in computer and biomedical engineering and the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from the Università degli Studi “Magna Græcia” di Catanzaro, Catanzaro, in 2013 and 2016, respectively, where she is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in molecular and translational oncology and innovative medical-surgical technologies for the curriculum in biomedical, systems, and applied nanotechnology engineering. Her research interests include the development of novel techniques for modeling, analysis, and identification of biological systems, with application to the investigation of cardiac diseases.
