My academic research interest has been focusing on cerebrovascular related pathophysiology such as cerebral ischemia, hemorrhagic strokes and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and looking insight for effective treatment of these diseases. My interest is especially focused on the unraveling of cellular and molecular mechanism behind AD, hemorrhagic stroke and their effective treatment. More specifically my interest is in finding new targets to cure AD and hemorrhagic stroke. One of the mechanisms such as cerebral amyloid angiopathy and their interaction with macrophage or microglial activation in the development of cerebrovascular pathology.
