Pimsiri Sripongpun

Pimsiri Sripongpun, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine working at Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit, Division of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai, Thailand. Dr. Sripongpun earned her MD degree with First Class Honors and Internal Medicine board from Prince of Songkla University and worked as a clinical fellow in Gastroenterology at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Recently, she had finished her research fellowship program in Hepatology at Stanford University School of Medicine, California, USA. She is currently involved in clinical practice as well as clinical research in gastroenterology and hepatology. She is also a member of the Gastroenterological Association of Thailand’s steering committee, where she served as a chairperson of International and communications and is serving as a treasurer. Her research focuses on viral hepatitis, and noninvasive tests/scoring systems in clinical hepatology as well as nutrition in gastroenterology and hepatology.
