Head of Department: Department Immunology, NHLS Tshwane Academic Division & Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Pretoria. I am a C-rated NRF Medical Scientist researcher with a PhD in Medical Immunology (University of Pretoria, 2011). His present research interest centres on both novel proteomic biomarkers and associated molecular indices in Rheumatoid Arthritis to identify disease severity, progression, treatment efficacy and comorbidities. I have extensive expertise in Allergology, Autoimmunity, Transplantation, Immunophenotyping and diagnosis of infectious diseases and manages the Department of Immunology’s under and postgraduate academic teaching and researcher programs in the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Pretoria.
