My research interests are focused in the study of the size-dependent physical and chemical properties of small metal clusters, particles composed of a countable number of metal atoms. My primary field of investigation is experimental physics, although I usually perform quantum chemical calculations to support experimental findings. My current research project is focused on the study of the decay mechanisms of excited metal clusters, in particular the process of radiative cooling
