Adjunct Professor QUT. As a post-doc scholar, leader, workplace chaplain and ethicist, I am researching self-compassion and humility to address workplace stress and healing. This work aims to assist practitioners and sufferers at work and develop connections between spirituality and workplace pastoral care. An individual’s lived experience, as related to suffering and emotional pain, could be support by a combination of self-compassion, humility, detachment and deeper self-awareness.
