Per is an applied interdisciplinary researcher with a great interest in knowledge production, communication and public awareness, as well as in encouraging dialogue, extension and collaborative learning processes with and among stakeholders at multiple levels. This applies both to the societal process of sustainable development toward adaptive governance, and sustainability in the context of conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in landscapes towards adaptive governance and management.
