Bio
X-ray crystallography provides atomic detail view of the target molecules, invaluable for rational structure-based design of specific ligands, with potential application as therapeutic drugs. Using a combination of macromolecular crystallography with other biophysical and biochemical tools, my current research focuses on the structure/function relationships in enzymes and on the modulation of macromolecular (protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid) interactions.
