Paulo Hilario Nascimento Saldiva

Paulo Saldiva is a medical pathologist and Full Professor of Pathology, Chief of the Laboratory of Experimental Air Pollution and Head of the Department of Pathology at the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, Brazil. For more than 24 years his research has focused on the health effects of ambient air pollution, including experimental, epidemiological and clinical studies. He is the coordinator of the National Institute for Integrated Analysis of Environmental Risk from Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology) and of Autopsy Research Center (NUPAI).
