Paul J Clark

Dr Paul Clark studied medicine at the University of Queensland, graduating with First Class Honours. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, with advanced training undertaken in Brisbane at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. He undertook post-fellowship training at Duke University Medical Centre in North Carolina, USA. Dr Clark consults in general gastroenterology and hepatology. He has a sub-specialty interest in the diagnosis and management of liver disease, including viral hepatitis and autoimmune diseases, and liver fibrosis evaluation. He has a Masters of Public Health (with distinction) and a PhD from UNSW under supervision of Professor Greg Dore. He has a part-time appointment as a Staff Specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Hospital Brisbane and is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He has authored over 45 book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles, and presented at national and international gastroenterology conferences.
