Bio

Patrick Hajek After finishing his degree in Engineering Physics in Canada, he has worked in the IT field for over 2 decades in the Bay Area, developing an expertise in relational databases and storage architecture. Five years ago, he refocused on acquiring new skills in Bioinformatics and is currently developing software to support IMG’s Metagenomics pipeline. When he is not working, he can be found on various mountaintops preparing his next paragliding flight.
