Paris Hadfield

My research interests include (urban) climate policy, energy systems, climate finance, and social justice from a sustainability transitions perspective. I recently led an action research project with the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy on city research and innovation priorities for climate action. My PhD examines how local autonomy and inclusive social outcomes are achieved through transformative financial innovation in local government and community renewable energy projects.
