Parameswar K. Iyer

Parameswar K. Iyer received the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, India, in 1999. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with Technion, Haifa, Israel, from 1999 to 2001; the University of California Santa Barbara, CA, USA, from 2001 to 2003; and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA, from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, he joined the Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati, India, as an Assistant Professor, where he has been promoted to full-time Professor in 2013. His current research interests include the design and development of advanced functional organic small molecules, polymers, and hybrid materials for optoelectronic devices, sensors, imaging, and therapeutics.
