Bio
Paddy Gillespie is Established Professor of Health Economics at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics and the Director of the Health Economics & Policy Analysis Centre (HEPAC) at NUI Galway. His research activity is focused on the application of the techniques of economic evaluation and econometrics to inform health policy and practice. He is a research affiliate at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), a health economics educator for the Health Research Board Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB TMRN), and the health economics lead for the Health Research Board Primary Care Clinical Trials Network Ireland (HRB Primary Care CTNI), the SFI Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CURAM), and the Interreg Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM).
