Pegah Khosravi

Pegah Khosravi received the bachelor's and master's degree in plants breeding. Her zeal in using mathematical modeling and algorithms for describing different biological systems inspired her to pursue a PhD degree in bioinformatics in the Department of Bioinformatics, Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IBB), University of Tehran, in 2009. Five years later, she received the PhD degree and started her first postdoctoral position at the School of Biological Sciences of Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Tehran, Iran (2014-2017). She is currently a postdoc associate at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, New York, USA. Her research areas include artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, computational biomedicine, and system biology.
