Peter Bröde is working as Data Analyst and Research Scientist at IfADo, the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors in Dortmund, Germany. In addition to data analyses in immunology, his research activities focus on the effects of the thermal environment on working people, especially when wearing protective clothing. He was a core member of COST Action 730 developing the Universal Thermal Climate Index UTCI and is maintaining the UTCI website. Furthermore, he serves as German delegate to international standardization bodies, e.g. the ISO committee 'Thermal Environments' (ISO/TC159/SC5/WG1) and the CEN working group on 'Ergonomics of PPE Systems' (CEN/TC122/WG14).
