个人简介
I am a structural and carbonate geologist with interest ranging from fracture-related dolomitization to flow in fractures under changing stress conditions, especially in carbonate rocks, affected by different burial diagenetic overprints, regional fault zones and magmatic intrusion.
Specifically, my research aims to examine, assess and better understand the behaviour of fracture networks, as opposed to individual fractures, in burial and fault-related carbonate outcrop analogues, which serve as proxies to their subsurface counterparts relevant for geothermal energy and hydrocarbon resources.
In particular, my research utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and remote sensing to study the interaction of fracture networks, fracture topology, and geomechanical simulations of fracture networks.
