Olga Vvedenskaya

Olya was born in Moscow, Russia. She studied medicine specializing in medical biophysics in Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow and worked on her MD thesis devoted to traumatic brain injury and mass spectrometry at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. She further did her PhD in Berlin, Germany working on a multi-omics approach to research of liver cancer and pre-cancerous conditions in Charite Medical University and Max-Delbrück-Centrum for Molecular Medicine. She continued her work in translational medicine and mass spectrometry in Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, Dresden, Germany. During her postdoc Olya established local and global academic mental health initiatives, including co-founding the Mental Health Collective of the Max Planck Society including Dragonfly Mental Health. From 2021 Olya moved to work in industry, and she currently works as a scientific communications officer in Lipotype, Germany, in addition to her work in Dragonfly Mental Health.
