As earlier stated, my research focus is on pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics with interest in both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Due to low economic resource, my key method for genotyping is using PCR-based methods coupled with Hplc analysis for quantitation of drugs and metabolites in biosamples. I'm presently looking at how to employ taqman-based assays for genotyping more drug metabolising enzymes
