Oluwatobi Olaniyi

Dr OLANIYI is a lecturer in the Department of Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He earned his PhD degree in Ecotourism Management with an academic background in Wildlife Management. And, postgraduate certificates in remote sensing/geographic information system from the University of Twente, Netherlands and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Tech., Ghana. He is a Third World Academy of Science/Universiti Putra Malaysia Postdoctoral Fellow, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Prince Bernhard and A.G. Leventis Foundation Scholar. His areas of research interests are sustainable planning and development of protected areas, cultural heritage and ecotourism products using socio-ecological adaptive approaches, remote sensing and GIS technology.
