Orsolya Kiss

Orsolya Kiss began her studies at Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest, Hungary, in 1991. She won the University Award for the Young Investigator four times, the National University Award for the Young Investigator once, and the Awards for Submitted Works for the University Competition twice. She also received a scholarship from the Hungarian Republic for three years. She received her M.D. degree in general medicine in 1997. At present, she is pursuing her postgraduate education, performing experimental and clinical investigations in the study of the pathomechanism and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator therapy of arrhythmias, including examinations of the effects of endothelin and monophasic action potential recording. She is the author of 24 publications.
