Oana I. Craciunescu

Oana I. Craciunescu received the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the “Polytechnic a” University, Bucharest, Romania, in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University Durham. NC. in 1999 She joined the Department of Radiation Oncology, Duke University Medical Center in 1998 as a Research Associate. Her research interests involve computational bioheat transfer and fractal analysis to describe tumor perfusion with the goal of modeling hy-perthermia-induced temperature distributions.
