Nuno Dias

Nuno Dias (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in industrial electronic engineering and computers and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical instrumentation from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. During the Ph.D. degree, he acquired strong skills in the areas of brain–machine interface, telemetry systems, and electrodes for biopotentials. Since 2010, he has been an Adjunct Professor with the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), Barcelos, Portugal, where he has been teaching in the areas of medical informatics, computer engineering, electronics and instrumentation. He is an integrated member of the Applied Artificial Intelligence Research Centre, IPCA. He is a coauthor of more than 55 scientific peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Dias is the CTO of a technological company in the area of market research (www.mindproberlabs.com) and is a part of the steering committee of the international conference IEEE Serious Games and Applications for Health (https://www.segah.org/).
