Nouri Masmoudi

Pr. Ben Ayed was born in Sfax, Tunisia, in 1966. He received his B.S. degree in computer engineering from Oregon State University (USA) and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) in 1988, and 1990 respectively. His Doctorate and Research Habilitation degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sfax National School of Engineering (ENIS-TUNISIA) in 2004, and 2008 respectively. He is currently a professor at Sfax National School of Electronics and Telecommunication ENET’COM. He was a member of a research team since 1994 at Laboratory of Electronics and information Technology at ENIS. Currently, he co-founded a new technology and telecommunication research laboratory NTS'COM at ENET'COM. He is a reviewer in many international and national journals and conferences. His current research interests include hardware implementation of digital algorithms for multimedia services, and development of new digital video coding tools for future standards.
