Graduated in Medicine at UNILUS, Master and Ph.D. at UNIFESP - Escola Paulista de Medicina, and post-doctorate in pediatrics at Claude Bernard University (Lyon, France). Currently a professor in Pediatrics Department of UNIFESP - Escola Paulista de Medicina. For 25 years was a professor of UNILUS , where served as head of the Department of Maternal and Child Health. Experience on: pediatric nephrology, renal transplantation, and pediatric intensive care. Research interests are a) Epidemiology of chronic kidney disease in children, b) Genetics of nephrotic syndrome and c) Kidney transplantation in children.
