Her research focuses on improving cancer care by providing epidemiological evidence to guide personal and medical decisions around cancer risk and survival. Dr. Nichols has led a number of studies, which have solved the intersection of cancer and reproductive health in the whole life cycle. Her work is based on large-scale observational research and data resources, including sister research, cancer research network, UNC Cancer Information Population Health Resources and NCI Cohort Alliance.
