Bio
The research of my group is primarily concerned with mineralogical properties, transport of heavy metals and colloidal behaviours of the soil clays of irrigated rice paddies. My current interest is terrestrial biogeochemical cycle of biogenic silica (phytolith) and its role in the regulation of carbon cycle through atmospheric CO2 sequestration.
