Our research efforts are dedicated to understanding various aspects of host-pathogen interactions in tuberculosis. We are particularly interested in deciphering the microbial and host cell molecular mechanisms involved in macrophage parasitism by pathogenic mycobacteria and in mycobacterial pathogenesis and inflammation, with a particular focus on deciphering receptor-mediated intracellular signalling and nutritional pathways involved in these processes.
