Dr. Nauman bin Ali has several years of experience working as an engineer and a researcher in the field of software engineering. From 2004 to 2008 he has worked as a software engineer in embedded systems, network security, and information systems domains. For the last eight years (2010-2018), he has worked with several companies as a researcher. His research can be characterized as applied research with a focus on assessing and improving the software engineering practice (with specialization in software testing, and Lean and Agile transformation). As a teacher, he has been involved in seven courses on various topic in software engineering, ranging from technical (software testing and software architecture) to more applied (process improvement and software quality management.
