Natalie Welsh

After gaining my PhD from Imperial College London in the study of epithelial tissue biogenesis, I have developed my research interests towards understanding the molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases with a particular emphasis on Parkinson’s disease (PD). I study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of PD pathogenesis using cell and animal models, with the aim of assigning and consolidating functional information to identify routes to disease modifying therapies.
