Naohiro Yamaguchi

Naohiro Yamaguchi was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1950. He received the B.S. degree in physics from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, in 1972, the M.S. degree from the University of Tsukuba (formerly Tokyo University of Education), Tsukuba, Japan, in 1974, and the D.S. degrees in physics from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 1979. After working as an Assistant Professor with the University of Tsukuba and as an Associate Professor with Toyota Technological Institute, Nagoya, he is currently a Professor with the Graduate School of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Toyama, Toyama, Japan. His research interests include X-ray and XUV spectroscopy, laser-plasma X-ray sources, and atmospheric pressure plasma. Dr. Yamaguchi is a member of the Physical Society of Japan, the Laser Society of Japan, the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research, and the Japanese Society for Synchrotron Radiation Research.
